"We are in love with your gorgeous original work of art entitled "Gentle Summer Days"! It constantly reminds us how fortunate we are to live in Prince Edward County. You truly capture the serene beauty all around us. To my husband, it evokes cherished memories of a nearby family cottage."

Judy- Some time has gone by and I had to write and let you know how grateful I am to have the beautiful REFLECTIONS ON BLACK RIVER painting. I get such enjoyment from it and both Simon and I use the word SERENE whenever we speak about it. He loved the birches , as I thought he would, and he also loves the way the painting draws you in. I have placed it just above my piano and can see it when I play or as I sit in the window where I can look out at my own birches and glance between the two. It is so beautiful and I always feel so blessed to have it.

" My husband and I approached Judy to do a commission of her iconic poppies. Since moving to the county, I always admired them and bought her cards with poppies on them. When covid hit, our trip for a special birthday and anniversary was cancelled. We asked Judy if she could paint her poppies in the amount that would remind us of our special dates. She agreed and she produced a beautiful painting that puts smiles on our faces everyday! Again, we seemed to still be in covid and we approached Judy with a commission of her iconic sheep! We had just finished renovating our bathroom with a country look and thought a Judy painting would make it extra special! Our grandsons love going to the farm on Morrison Point Road to see the sheep sometimes peeking out from behind us for protection! Judy captured the farm perfectly and painted the number of sheep to represent family members. I did confess to Judy the painting was going in a bathroom and Judy just smiled and laughed!"

"We have always loved Judy's work, especially her use of beautiful vibrant colours and her ability to capture the feeling of life in the County. We have commissioned two paintings with Judy. The first is a view from our house of a gorgeous early morning sunrise which Judy painted from photos we had taken. We were so happy with the result that we requested a second painting, this one based on all things that we love about our beautiful road in the County. We know that Judy would be able to do this justice, and she didn't disappoint! We enjoy looking at both of them every day."

" I feel so honoured to own several of Judy's pieces. I first saw her work at The Local Store in PEC and reached out to inquire about a commissioned piece of some sheep in front of a barn. I had no idea how much I was going to fall in love with that piece. It sits overtop of our fireplace at the cottage - It's the best location in our home for art viewing. I have had so many compliments on that piece. Since then, I have acquired 2 floral pieces that are so beautiful, and a sunset painting of our cottage view overlooking our dock. Judy's work is bright and bold. her pieces can make you feel almost like you are standing in a garden, rather than looking at a painting of one. My only regret is that I am running out of wall space..."

" We are very lucky to have a few of Judy's paintings. Each one brings something different and reminds us of the beautiful and diverse Canadian landscape. We have a large commissioned piece of a scene from maritime Canada that hangs prominently in our front hallway for all our visitors to see. It gives us a sense of calm and beauty, and it serves to welcome guests into our home. That's how we feel about Judy's work - a sense of welcome, calm and nature exploration."

"Judy Plomer's paintings are always fresh, exciting and carefully crafted. Her series of poppy paintings are reminiscent of the American artist Georgia O'Keefe, very sensual and lush with bright and cheerful colours. Judy has a wonderful eye for landscape, whether it be a pastel of pastoral sheep in a meadow or a brilliant acrylic autumn country lane. Judy always continues to amaze and please us with her artistic endeavours."

"I purchased a watercolour painting of "pansies" from Judy over 20 years ago. Since that time we have acquired more of her recent work, whether it's landscapes, water or florals she has a unique style and colour pallet which brings her paintings to life. What I love the most about Judy's work is that she is always changing and evolving as an artist, therefore each year there is a new twist to her work which makes her fun to follow".

"Judy's work is so positive. A contemporary approach to the Canadian landscape while remaining true to the traditions going back to the Group of Seven. Judy's paintings reminds us of the Ontario landscape when we are back in England."
John & Roseann B, Checkendon, England
"A few years ago I purchased a lovely little watercolour painting by Judy. It was difficult making a choice, as Judy had painted several lovely florals, varying in size that year. I finally decided on a painting with a small group of merry little purple and lavender pansies. Judy's poppy paintings are also delightful. Not a day goes by that I don't admire my little piece of artwork as it is hung on a wall as I come up my stairs."

" I have the honour of owning an original Judy Plomer. It's of a gondola navigating a canal in Venice. Every time I admire this wonderful painting my heart bursts with happiness. I smile and remember all the precious memories of the magical city that my beautiful painting evokes. Thank you Judy."

Currently we have 2 of Judy's paintings showing in our home and each time I look at them I realize that they were done by a "gifted artist". I am especially fond of "Reflections" in (chalk pastel) hanging in a place for all to see. One look tells it all.
